When I have a heartburn I always drink a glass of aloe vera juice and it goes away very quickly. But I should also quit drinking coffee (I drink about 6 cups a day) because it is one of the reasons of acid reflux.

  2. Doctor says:

The baking soda with water also works, but it is undesirable to use this method often. If you usmoke you should also quit it becuase smoking weakens the lower esophageal sphincter and the stomach contents can reflux back up into the esophagus.
